I have a BFA in photography from the Alberta College of Art & Design, in Canada. I received the Board of Governors Award, Bob Ranson Memorial Scholarship, John H. & Kathleen Snow Scholarship, and the Photographic Arts Merit Award. Since graduating, I have assisted photographers with advertising, editorial work, and analogue darkroom production, whilst pursuing my own photo-based art practice. In 2007 I relocated to the UK, and have largely focused on creative public engagement projects at the University of Bristol, where I also manage a national research institute.
I am currently a MA Multidisciplinary Printmaking student, a degree programme which is part of the Centre for Fine Print Research at the University of the West of England (UWE).
I am keen to create a conversation between digital and slow traditional printmaking processes, and the hybrid that forms when combining the different forms of print. Primarily my work is photographic, and heavily influenced by experimental music and ambient soundscapes.
I am also interested in artists' books, independent publishing, and affected art reviews.
